Source: space_married Art Prompt 07: Doom x-over: in Reaper's final scene with Sam, she just looks like an angel, right? And he looks fallen... Make the same thing with fallen reaper!Bones and angel in gold Jim.

This wasn't due until October 1st, so I'm rather surprised I got it done now. Then again, I feel I have cheated a bit, since the prompt called for little more than a transcription of Doom's final scene, with Sam becoming Kirk and Reaper becoming more Bones-like. The lesser thought needed always creates hastier production time, and I still drew and colored it from scratch, though the clothing decisions did call for some thought. I knew Bones had to lose his blues, so I was contemplating beating Kirk up more and giving him blue bandages, but ultimately I decided that would take away from the goldenboy. So simple it remained.

I also have a version with blueshirt Bones. No blood in that one.

Originally made for emiliglia. Throwing the link up here for my own organization (and easy amusement), though it's due to expire soon. A great pity.

I remember brick and stone and crowded walkways, building so old, so persistent towering above heads and below archways and crumbling stairs. I remember treading those stone paths alone and flowers in windows and emblems of animals adorning the corners. I remember laughing gallery guards, amused with my quick wanderings and feverish scribbling. I remember dwindling time and having to say good bye.

Also, new profile layout, because it was time for a change.

I need to get up earlier tomorrow to look at my new place, but since the whole moving fiasco will happen for the rest of the weekend, I wanted to rush and post these. Of course, rushing never brings out the best, but I'm impatient and want to show something. Luckily, Band of Brothers inspires a scribbled, not-so-neat style, so maybe it's forgivable. That and the process was initiated after getting an armload of free colored sharpies at work-- from a redshirt no less, so there was quite a bit of experimentation going on.

That is, when I'm not at work, sleeping, or moving into my place for the new semester (though that's this weekend only).
